Better Us Begins with Me is a therapy group for parents and caregivers of neurodivergent children who want to strengthen their families by first supporting themselves. Parenting a child with a different brain can be deeply meaningful and incredibly demanding, often leaving parents feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure of how to respond in challenging moments.

This group provides a supportive, non-judgmental space where parents can slow down, reflect, and focus on their own emotional well-being. Participants will learn practical tools for emotional regulation, stress management, and self-compassion, while gaining a deeper understanding of how their own nervous system and experiences impact family dynamics. Through shared discussion and connection with other parents who truly understand, caregivers are supported in responding with greater calm, confidence, and clarity.

The focus is not on fixing your child. Instead, the group centers on caring for you, recognizing that when parents feel regulated and supported, stronger communication, connection, and safety can grow throughout the family system.
