It’s great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Emily Daily, MEd, LPC-A. If you deal with depression, anxiety, or have experienced trauma, whether it’s something you talk about or something you’ve kept buried, I want you to know that you’re not alone, that healing is possible, and that you deserve it. I provide a safe and compassionate space where you can untangle painful experiences, reconnect with your inner strength, and feel more like yourself. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted from holding it all together, you don’t have to carry it alone. You have already taken a powerful step by looking for support. When you are ready, I am here to walk alongside you.

My approach to therapy

I utilize an eclectic/integrative approach to therapy, as my approach is based on each client’s unique needs. I often employ a person-centered approach to build trusting relationships with my clients, and I often utilize modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and cognitive processing therapy (CPT). My approach is grounded, compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I provide a space where your story is honored, your nervous system can begin to feel safe again, and you can reconnect with the parts of you that feel lost or shut down.

What you can expect during our first session

Our first session is about getting to know each other at a pace that feels comfortable to you. I will ask a few questions to better understand what brings you to therapy and what you are hoping for, but there is no pressure to share everything right away. You are in control of your story. We will talk about what therapy might look like, what feels supportive to you, and explore how I can best hold space for your healing. In the sessions to follow, we will continue to work together to achieve your goals. You can always expect compassion, curiosity, and zero judgment. I look forward to working with you.
